In Italy, children have started putting up pictures of rainbows in their windows for other people to see, a message to say “Everything will be ok” or “Andra Tutto Bene” in Italian. This Covid Rainbow is now trending around the world, from chalk artwork on the street to beautiful educational crafts 🌈 My challenge to you, is to create a beautiful rainbow with your children and display on social media🌈 Please tag @sleepyheadsa, @funkids_hillcrest and @nielsonacad so we can share the love.

Please note we at Nielson Academy do not take credit for these ideas. We have tried to reference the appropriate person where possible, however, this is quite difficult as it is quite hard to source the original owner on Facebook due to sharing etc… If we have not referenced you correctly please let us know and we shall rectify it :)
Playdough is for all ages...
Sensory play for little ones, modelling for young children... can be used when explaining and understanding fractions... Following verbal instructions is a skill that is so important 🗣
Depending on the age of your child, give them either one or two instructions at a time, this helps the auditory memory too. From Tarryn @ FunKids |
